This Holland Park house underwent a total renovation to transform it from a tired Queenslander to a large family home.
The build involved a house raise and build under, to create more space for added bedrooms and living spaces. Complete with four bedrooms, study and large open plan upstairs and spacious living areas downstairs, the home was modernised for convenient family living. Large windows let light and air into both levels of the home, and we were more than happy to work with the owners to incorporate the original Arctic Glass casement windows, in order to maintain the classic Queenslander charm of the home.
On the lower level, the kitchen features “shaker-style” cabinetry, a large Caesarstone island benchtop and farmhouse butler’s sink. Eight light bifold doors and matching floor to ceiling windows with transom light above open the kitchen and dining area seamlessly onto the rear Spotted Gum timber deck. Overlooking the pool, this area is perfect for outdoor entertaining all year round.
This nine month renovation was no small feat, but by working closely with our clients we were able to deliver to them a beautiful home that will no doubt be their pride and joy for years to come.
